Avocado toast always hits the spot, but adding cherry preserves or a handful of dried cherries on top takes it to a whole new level. 🍒 Cherry Avocado Toast 🥑
Simple, nourishing, and a little fancy.

Ingredients:
🍞 1 slice thick-cut bread
🥑 1 medium avocado
🍒 6 tsp fresh cherries, de-stemmed, pitted, and sliced
🍒 1 tbsp cherry preserves or dried cherries (optional but iconic)
✨ 1 tsp chia seeds
🧂 Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:
1. Mash the avocado with a fork and season with salt and pepper.
2. Spread over toasted bread.
3. Add sliced cherries - or swap in cherry preserves or dried cherries for a sweet twist - and sprinkle with chia seeds.
